Auburn quarterback Sean White likely will miss more time this spring due to an injury.
Tigers coach Gus Malzahn suggested Wednesday that White, who broke his right forearm in the Sugar Bowl earlier this month, will not be ready in time for the start of spring practice.
“Right now we’re hoping he gets to throw some in the spring,” Malzahn told reporters at the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama. “I’ll have more updates as it gets a little bit closer.”
White, a redshirt sophomore this past season, sustained the injury during the opening drive of Auburn’s eventual loss to Oklahoma on Jan.
