BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- When asked to reflect on his season, Jeremy Johnson took a positive outlook. He had just scored two second-half touchdowns to help lead Auburn past Memphis in the Birmingham Bowl and he was feeling good.
“Life is about adversity,” Johnson said. “It just defines you as a person, as a player. I handled it well. God rewards people who do things and handle things the right way.”
This past season wasn’t full of rewards for Johnson. It was a roller-coaster ride. Back in August, he was tabbed as a breakout star in the SEC.
