AUBURN, Ala. – No. 8 Auburn women’s tennis swept Tulane, 4-0 in the first round of the Blue Gray National Tennis Classic in Montgomery, Ala. on Friday. The Tigers took the doubles point from Denver in a second round match that will be completed tomorrow.
“I am very pleased with our play today in both matches,” Auburn head coach Lauren Spencer said. “We knew going into our match that Tulane would be a dangerous team after beating LSU. They came to play and we set the tone from the very beginning. I am very pleased with our execution and energy.
