It’s been brought up a few times on this site and on pretty much every Auburn message board you can find that Auburn has struggled to recruit offensive tackles in recent cycles. In the 2018 class, Auburn did not land a single underclassmen though they did snag a graduate transfer with two years of eligibility left in Jack Driscoll. So far in the 2019 class, offensive tackle has been the one spot Auburn has not had a strong start. 5* Wanya Morris chose Tennessee over Auburn, instate 4* Amari Kight picked the Tide over the Tigers and just this past weekend 4* Xavier Truss committed to UGA just hours after visiting the Plains.
