This is A&M’s second season under defensive coordinator John Chavis, a longtime SEC assistant. His first Aggies defense made small strides, and Chavis is expecting bigger strides this fall, especially against the run.
“You can tell the difference between this year and last year that (Chavis) has made,” Malzahn said in his weekly news conference Tuesday.
