Auburn lands graduate transfer Marshall Taylor

Taylor (6 feet 2, 199 pounds) has good size and was a two-year starter for the RedHawks. In a way, he is transferring home, as he attended Cordele (Ga.) Crisp County High, which is about 125 miles from Auburn’s campus. He attended high school with Auburn defensive lineman Montravius Adams.

Taylor—who was a high school safety – picked Auburn over Louisville. He also reportedly had been considering Florida and Michigan State.

He is the second graduate transfer defensive back in as many seasons for Auburn. One of the Tigers’ steadiest secondary performers in 2015 was Blake Countess, who had transferred from Michigan.
