Senior starting left tackle Trey Adams, a preseason All-American, did not make the trip to Atlanta, Adam Jude of the Seattle Times reported Saturday morning. He is out because of a back injury, Jude reported.
The No. 6 Huskies play the No. 9 Tigers at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday in Atlanta in the only game of Week 1 that features two teams ranked inside the top 10.
Listed at 6-8, 316 pounds, Adams started seven games last season before suffering an injury against Arizona State. He was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2016 after starting every game at left tackle and he started nine games in 2015.
