Auburn football player sidelined with injury | Columbus Ledger-Enquirer

The Auburn Tigers will be down a wide receiver as the team goes through the rest of its spring practice.

SEC Country’s Lauren Shute reported Tuesday that junior wide receiver Eli Stove suffered a torn ACL in the Tigers’ last practice before spring break. Shute also reported Stove has already had surgery and will miss the remainder of spring practice and the A-Day spring game.

Stove hopes to return to the team in the fall.

Stove’s 29 receptions in 2017 tied for the second-highest by any Auburn player. He played in all 14 games for the Tigers and finished his sophomore campaign with 265 receiving yards.
