After announcing his decision to transfer in December, Marquis McClain has made his decision.
Back in December, Auburn lost one of it’s most veteran receivers when rising redshirt senior wideout Marquis McClain enters his name into the transfer portal. Six months later and McClain has chosen where he will continue his college football career.
Per AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, the 6-foot-2, 224-pound pass-catcher has elected to play at the FCS level for Southern University.
The Jaguars are a Historically Black College and University (HBCU) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and have been one of the best teams in the SWAC the last couple of seasons.
