The Auburn football and basketball programs have seen quite a few characters over the years, and some of their best quotes are being remembered by fans on Twitter. Jimmy Traina sure got what he asked for on Twitter when he said, “Give me your all-time favorite sports quote.” Thousands of replies and quote Tweets came through, including several replies from the Auburn family.
While Traina, the host of SI Media Podcast, was probably hoping for some inspirational and memorable quotes from the people, a lot of what he got was just straight foolishness, especially in the wake of Anthony Edwards’ recent quote about former MLB star Aaron Rodriguez.
