Auburn football fans were not happy about the ESPN Friday night college football announcing crew comparing UCF RB Isaiah Bowser to Tiger legend and current RB coach Cadillac Williams.
Bowser is having his best season yet, scoring five touchdowns in his first two games. He collected four of those touchdowns last week against the FCS’ Bethune-Cookman.
His career-high in a season is five.
That’s what made the comparison to Cadillac so absurd. Williams’ career-high was 17 rushing TDs in a single season back in 2003, and later had 13 total TDs during the Tigers’ unforgettable undefeated 2004 Sugar Bowl champion Auburn football team.
