While our dreams of an SEC Championship and possible spot in the College Football Playoffs are over, we still have the chance to compete in a big bowl game.
I know that’s not exactly what we shoot for as Auburn fans, but the chance to play on a New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day – this year it’s the day after New Year’s Day – bowl is always exciting.
Auburn is already at seven wins on the season, with an eighth most likely coming this weekend against Alabama A&M. The only other team in the conference right now with eight or more wins is Alabama.
