Auburn football knows a thing or two about the Heisman Trophy and it’s worth speculating who will be the next Tiger to get his statue in front of Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Pat Sullivan. Bo Jackson. Cam Newton.
Each player is an icon in Auburn football history and each won the Heisman. Sullivan won as a senior quarterback in 1971. Jackson won as one of the game’s greatest running backs of all-time in 1985 and Newton captured it in 2010 when he put together what might be the single-greatest season by an individual in college football history.
