Pretty soon, yours truly will be saddling up and riding a horse – something I do not enjoy one bit – to pay up my wager to head coach Greg Williams, as the Auburn equestrian team defeated TCU 8-7 on Saturday night in Waco, Texas to bring home the 2016 NCEA National Championship.
“It was a dramatic finish to a great season,” Williams told AuburnTigers.com. “I’m so proud of this team and the great coaching staff. This staff had everyone ready to play and it’s been an awesome weekend. I give so much credit to TCU for having a fantastic championship.
