STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Auburn soccer team battled to a scoreless draw in a tough road contest against Mississippi State (7-1-3, 1-1-2 SEC) Friday night at the MSU Soccer Field.
The result was Auburn's (5-3-3, 2-0-2 SEC) fourth straight to start SEC play and fifth straight overall dating back to Sept. 8. Additionally, it was the team's fifth straight shutout and result against Mississippi State.
"We're a bit frustrated because we didn't think we played our best," head coach Karen Hoppa said. "A lot of that is credit to Mississippi State and how direct they played.
