Four-star athlete Alaric Williams committed to Auburn in July 2015 and remains a solid commitment for the Tigers.
“It felt like the right fit for me,” Williams told GN. “I love the coaches. I always have since they started recruiting me.”
Williams appreciates how Tigers coach Gus Malzahn has dealt with him in the recruiting process.
“Malzahn has always been straight up with me; he’s been straightforward,” he said.
Williams (6 feet 0, 195 pounds), from Gadsden (Ala.) Southside, is considered one of the top five prospects in Alabama and a national top-175 recruit. While he is listed as an “athlete” by the recruiting services, he says Auburn coaches have a definite position in mind for him.
