AUBURN, Ala. – The Auburn soccer team battled back and forth with Ole Miss (10-4-2, 3-4-1 SEC) in a match that eventually ended in a 2-2 draw Thursday night at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
With the result, Auburn (7-4-4, 4-1-3 SEC) guarantees itself a spot in the SEC Tournament but is still battling for a first-round bye awarded to the top six teams.
“It was a high-quality SEC match,” said head coach Karen Hoppa. “It was back-and-forth and a great effort on both sides. We’ve got to be better than we were tonight, though.
