Auburn basketball’s 2016-17 season likely came to a close following a buzzer-beating 3-pointer by Missouri to win 86-83 in overtime. Missouri is in last place in the SEC and recently lost to the Tigers just a few nights earlier, 89-78. Mustapha Heron, who led Auburn in scoring in both games with 20 and 15, respectively, was the highlight for the Tigers with 14 rebounds in the loss.
Despite Auburn once again falling via second half collapse, it feels odd to start calling for Bruce Pearl’s head.
