It was a good run, but the season is over.
Nick Pappas proved to be the Tigers' worst enemy once again.
After hitting a home run in the Cougars' victory over Auburn on Friday, he hit two home runs for the Cougars on Sunday evening. Those were two of the Cougars four total hits. The solo home run in the second off Dalton Rentz and then two-run home run in the 7th off Robby Clements were the only runs scored by the Cougars.
Those were the only runs they would need. Following the first Pappas home run, Auburn answered with runs in the fourth and fifth innings.
