Former Auburn baseball player David Ross was recently named as a contestant for ABC’s dance competition show “Dancing with the Stars,” becoming the first baseball player to join the show.
Ross was a member of the last Auburn team to make the College World Series in 1997 prior to transferring to Florida, where he made the College World Series again in 1998.
Ross will be accompanied by Lindsay Arnold as his dancing partner. Arnold has danced with athletes in the show in the past and was once a contestant on the show “So You Think You Can Dance.
