  • Tonight was Auburn's ninth all-time win against a top-2 opponent and first since defeating No. 1 Alabama in 2013
  • Auburn's last win against a top-2 Georgia team came Nov. 21, 1942, when unranked Auburn defeated No. 1 UGA 27-13
  • Auburn is now 4-0 all-time against Georgia when both teams are ranked in the top 10 (1971, 1983, 2004, 2017). It's the first time Auburn has been the lower-ranked team coming into a top-10 matchup between the teams.
  • The Tigers held Georgia to 46 rushing yards, the fewest by Georgia in the series since at least 1967
  • Auburn's 23-point margin of victory tied for the fourth-largest over Georgia in series history
  • The Tigers outgained Georgia 488-230 (258-yard difference); the second-largest yardage differential in series history (largest: 268 yards, 1969)
  • Auburn gave up a first-quarter touchdown for the first time this season
