In a remarkable finish to a Final Four game, Virginia defeated Auburn 63-62 and will play for the national championship Monday night.
The Cavaliers’ Kyle Guy missed a corner three-pointer and that appeared to seat the Tigers’ two-point victory.
But a foul was called on Samir Doughty, who made slight contact with Guy.
With 0.6 seconds remaining, Guy, an 82 percent free-throw shooter, made his first two before Auburn called a time out.
