Known for his lightening quick action off the line, Auburn’s career sacks leader, Quentin Groves, has passed away according to multiple social media reports and confirmed by the university earlier this afternoon. He was 32. The cause of death has not been made public, but sources say The former All-SEC star was in Trinidad celebrating his daughter’s birthday at the time of his death. He died in his sleep. Our prayers and sympathy go out to the Groves family.
Groves played at Auburn from 2004 through 2007, tying Gerald Robinson as the Tigers’ career sacks leader with 26.
