All it took was taking a step back to give the former Freshman All-SEC offensive lineman a new perspective on things. At least, that’s how Kozan viewed the 2014 season, when he was sidelined the entire year following back surgery last summer.
“I’m not going to lie, it wasn’t easy,” Kozan said Tuesday. “It was rough, but I was able to grow through that. … Obviously it was disappointing, but I was able to learn some things on the sidelines, take a step back and kind of see the team through a bigger picture than just the O-line.
