A True Auburn Hard Fighting Solider

The injured Auburn player lay motionless on the turf of Pat Dye Field as the medical staff worked on stabilizing his neck and putting him onto a stretcher. An eerily silence in the stands was broken by a thunderous applause as he was carted off the field to be placed in an ambulance.

It was a scary moment for all those in attendance at Jordan-Hare Stadium but it had to be even more scary for the player, Cassanova McKinzy. The sophomore was trying to sack Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace when he collided with Wallace and Auburn defensive tackle Montravius Adams.
