AUBURN, Ala. - Like Tiger Walk and the eagle flight, Big Cat Weekend is a tradition that is uniquely Auburn.
“It’s one of those unique weekends that we’ve been doing here at Auburn since 2009, and it’s been the most important recruiting weekend every year,” Auburn coach Gus Malzahn said. “I think 70 to 80 percent of our current players went through Big Cat.”
Many of the country’s top high school players are arriving Friday afternoon and early Saturday for Auburn’s ninth annual Big Cat Weekend, which focuses more on building relationships than touring facilities.
