After seeing our post on the Toomer’s Corner Power Roller that captured hearts at the ______ last week, Mike Brill wrote us about his 13-year-old daughter Lauren’s gift to gadgetry:
My daughter’s 8th grade science fair project this year was to program a robot to autonomously complete a task. Lauren decided to have “Rob” recreate the Kick 6 from the 2013 Iron Bowl. We were at the game as a family that night and it is one of our fondest memories. She learned how to write a program to make the robot back up to the end zone, rotate the arm to grab the ball, follow a line on the field to recreate the run, and then do a celebration after scoring.
