Three Auburn players were held out of Saturday’s 51-14 win over Missouri because of injuries.
Junior running back Kamryn Pettway, senior linebacker Tre’ Williams and sophomore cornerback Javaris Davis, all of whom are starters, did not play against Missouri.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn told reporters after the game that all three weren’t “100 percent” but didn’t go into specifics about Williams and Davis’ injuries. Pettway, he said, has a left ankle injury that he suffered last week against Mercer.
Against Missouri, Pettway dressed out for the game but remained on the sideline for the entirety of the game with a heavily taped right foot after going through pregame warmups.
