Auburn football will open up the season at home on Sept. 2, 2017 against Georgia Southern before making the trip to Clemson.
As exciting as it is to have a big game the first week, I would much rather prefer my team get an easy win to start the year. Can you imagine if Auburn had played Arkansas State in week one this year before playing Clemson? Maybe things would have gone a little different.
