The Auburn Tigers showed a lot of interest in five-star wide receiver Brandon Martin when he was a high school senior in 2015, offering him a scholarship before ultimately losing out to LSU after he failed to qualify academically at Auburn.
However, Martin failed to get into LSU as well, causing him to land at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. Now the 6'4", 200-pounder is the top JUCO wide receiver prospect in the country, and Auburn is going after him again - and they're the favorite to land him this time.
Martin already has a scholarship offer from the Tigers, but puts them in front because "they're showing the most interest." He plans to visit Auburn in spring. He's expected to graduate in December, giving him three years to play three seasons after redshirting his first year.
Martin was an Under Armour All-American during his senior year in high school with offers from seemingly every power conference school. Now, Auburn is competing with just Mississippi State and Louisville for his services.
