The Auburn Tigers have made Mississippi Gulf Community College defensive end Isaiah Buggs one of the top targets in the 2017 cycle, and it appears to be paying off as he has "high interest" in the school.
“I mean, it’s War Eagle … powerful offense, powerful defense,” Buggs told 247sports. “They’ve got guys that like to fly around and have a good time.
"I talk to Auburn pretty much on a daily basis. They’ve got great coaches. Basically (defensive line coach Rodney Garner) just tells me that he likes the way I play. He wants to be a great coach to me. He tells me you’ve got to stay focused in the classroom first. He needs guys who can stop the interior run and get to the quarterback — and have good speed.”
However, Auburn is far from the only team pursuing his services. The 6'5", 280-pounder is rated as the top JUCO defensive end prospect in the country and has his list down to 10 schools.
