Spring practice is rapidly approaching for schools around the country and the Auburn Tigers start their spring practice in less than a month. While that has the attention of the coaching staff, recruiting is a never-ending process. Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn and his coaching staff are already hard at work putting together the pieces of the 2017 recruiting class.

Auburn Leads For Four-Star LB
Will Ignont is a four-star LB and the No. 133 overall player in the class of 2017. Hailing from Alabama, he's the No. 5 inside linebacker. The Tigers are recruiting him hard, and he told 247Sports that Auburn remains his leader.
"Every time I go there it just feels like I'm at home," Ignont said. "Me and all of the coaches have a real good relationship. Their whole coaching staff. I look at them as father figures. I've always looked up to them. I just get that home feel."

Tigers Pursuing Alabama Decommit
Four-star OG Netori Johnson was committed to Alabama, but re-opened his recruitment on Feb. 5th. The Tigers are pursuing the No. 4 guard in the class of 2017. 247Sports spoke with Johnson, who said his relationship with Auburn OL Coach Herb Hand is strong One of Johnson's old teammates, Antwuan Jackson, enrolled early at Auburn. Johnson said the two had spoken about becoming teammates again. Johnson lists Alabama as his current favorite, despite decommitting, but Auburn and Georgia aren't far behind.
Junior Day
Auburn is hosting a junior day Saturday, which means several high-profile recruits are visiting the Tigers. 247Sports has the full list here, but eight-four star recruits are already on campus. The highest rated recruit is OT Austin Troxell, the No. 88 overall player and No. 4 recruit from the state of Alabama.
