The Auburn Tigers (8-4) will finish off their 2014 college football season in one of the most intriguing bowl matchups to have been released thus far, facing off against the Wisconsin Badgers (10-3) in the Outback Bowl in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Here's ESPN's Brett McMurphy with the report:
Wisconsin vs. Auburn in Outback Bowl, source told @ESPN

If you're a fan of dynamic running attacks, this SEC/Big Ten showdown promises to deliver in spades.
The Auburn Tigers finished the 2014 regular season 12th in the nation with 258.5 rushing yards per game. Wisconsin, thanks in large part to sensational junior RB Melvin Gordon's 2,336-yard season, finished 4th with 314.0 rushing yards per contest.
While the Outback Bowl isn't necessarily the first choice of either program with the championship aspirations both fan bases and teams had coming into 2014, this promises to be one of the better bowl games of this postseason regardless.
