International duty has reared its ugly head once again. Atlanta United announced Thursday that Ezequiel Barco will miss 3-4 weeks with tendinitis in his right knee. According to TyC Sports, Atlanta United’s Ezequiel Barco reportedly suffered an apparent right knee injury Wednesday while training with the Argentina U-20 team, ending his chance to take part in the final round of qualifying for the U-20 World Cup later this month.
The Argentine outlet called it “an insertional pathology of the patellar tendon,” and while I have no idea what that means specifically, the injury seems to be an issue with the patellar tendon.
