Four days. That’s how long Atlanta United has to complete a trade or a last-minute transfer. Ever since February we’ve been under the assumption that the team is in need of a defensive midfielder to help with the loss of Carlos Carmona. Darren Eales has dropped hints along the way that more moves could be made, but as we approach the May 1 deadline, that doesn’t appear to be the case.
The biggest reason we haven’t seen any desperation moves made is the fact that Jeff Larentowicz has been playing out of him mind. The veteran midfielder has been everything anyone could’ve hope for and more.
