As the Atlanta United roster has rounded into shape, the player rumors have dwindled. However, one interesting link popped up late Wednesday night when FOX Sports Chile reporter Gonzalo Fouillioux says that the club are interested in acquiring central midfielder Carlos Carmona from Serie A club Atalanta.

Carmona, 29, has spent the last nine years in Italy between Reggina and Atalanta.
