Report: Atlanta United negotiating with Guillermo Barros Schelotto for manager position

As the Tata Martino saga drags on, rumors have begun to emerge about who Atlanta United could possibly be looking at to replace their current manager. With reports strongly linking Martino to the open Mexico national team job, whispers out of South America claim that the Five Stripes are looking at another Argentinian to take over their top job.

AS Argentina reports that Atlanta United are in negotiations with current Boca Juniors manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto to replace Martino if/when he departs for another position.

If Schelotto’s name sounds familiar it’s because he spent four years with the Columbus Crew from 2007-10, where he scored 38 goals and became a club icon.
