Pity Martinez concluded his time at River Plate on Saturday by coming off the bench and scoring two goals against Kashima Antlers in the FIFA Club World Cup Third Place game.
The midfielder, who is almost assuredly on his way to MLS this winter, came on in the 70th minute and notched a brace in his side’s 4-0 win.
The first goal came just three minutes after stepping on the field, calmly slotting a first-time finish into the roof of the net.
However, it was his second goal of the night that really had everyone talking.
