Pull the plug
I felt happiness while watching an Atlanta United match yesterday. It was a brief burst of joy that overcame me when Gelmin Rivas blasted a shot past Brad Guzan in the 92nd minute. That moment brought the end of the 2020 season closer than ever. Despite being a joke for the majority of the season, this iteration of Atlanta United still remains alive for postseason contention due to the elementary playoff format put in place. But I would rather be forced to watch every Adam Sandler Netflix original movie for the rest of my life than have to watch this team in the playoffs.
