Gonzalo “Pity” Martinez has been called into Lionel Scaloni’s Argentine national team squad for the upcoming FIFA international break, taking place March 18-26.
Martinez earned his first two senior caps under Scaloni in September 2018, with Pity scoring in his debut against Guatemala.
Argentina will play Josef Martinez’s Venezuela in Madrid on March 22, followed by a match with Morocco in Rabat, Morocco on March 26.
It’s an impressive call for Martinez to receive considering the strength of the squad compiled by Scaloni. He’ll participate in camp alongside Lionel Messi, Paulo Dybala, Angel Di Maria, and many more of the country’s best players who are excelling at Europes biggest clubs.
