UPDATE, 1/9: It’s official. Amar Sejdic has signed a new contract with Atlanta United to keep him in Gonzalo Pineda’s squad in 2023. The contract includes two options after this season to potentially keep him with Atlanta through 2025.
“We are happy to bring Amar back to the club after his contributions the last two seasons,” Carlos Bocanegra said in a statement from the club. “A proven MLS midfielder, he is a highly intelligent player who reads the game well and has a good understanding of how the coaching staff wants to play.”
Atlanta United look to be close to bringing back Amar Sejdic for his 2nd full season with the club.
