Atlanta United announced on Thursday that two players will miss out on the club’s Concacaf Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Club America. Brooks Lennon and Alec Kann have both undergone minor surgery and will be out of action until next preseason, according to a press release.
Lennon’s procedure was on his ankle, while Kann’s was on his shoulder. Both are described as “clean-up” procedures.
The resumption of the CCL will take place in Orlando from December 15-22. The Five Stripes are scheduled to play Club America on either the 15th or 16th in the second leg.
