What is this nonsense? Only one Atlanta United match this week? Is the world ending?
What a match-up we have this lovely Friday night when No. 1 in the West (and MLS) take on No. 2 in the East. While Atlanta United and LAFC aren’t rivals and have virtually no history together, as far as star power and circumstances go, you won’t find more interesting match-up in MLS.
If you’ve been living under a rock for the past five months, LAFC are sort of a big deal. They’re the new juggernaut of the league so far this season, amassing a comfortable seven-point lead in the Supporters’ Shield race.
