Darlington Nagbe's classy performance in the middle of the park against the Colorado Rapids earned him Man of the Match honors, but now it's turning heads around the league. The U.S. international was named in the MLS Team of the Week by league writers today.
Nagbe was as precise and unguardable as ever in the middle of the field, completing 94% of his passes over the course of the match. But not only did he have his trademark metronome passing, he had the match-changing moment as well. It was Nagbe who stole the ball high up the field, dribbled two defenders to the byline and crossing in for Julian Gressel to stab home the winner from close range.
