FOX Sports announced today that it has agreed to an exclusive multi-year U.S. English-language rights deal with CONCACAF, highlighted by the 2021 and 2023 Gold Cups as well as the Men’s and Women’s Olympic Qualifiers and Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League.
The press release from FOX Sports said the next three editions of the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League will be televised exclusively by FOX Sports on U.S. English-language television.
Last year, Yahoo! held English-language rights, which was only available through the company’s app. The tournament was broadcast in Spanish on Univision.
The broadcast television schedule for the upcoming Champions League is yet to be made public, but it stands to reason that some, but not all, of the matches will be available on FOX Sports’ cable properties.
