After a three week break for international play, Atlanta United gets back to business in a highly anticipated return to action against the Philadelphia Union. The Five Stripes will have revenge on their minds after being knocked out of the Concacaf Champions League earlier this year at the hands of the Union in the Quarterfinal round (in addition to other things), and there’s hardly a better platform to do it than national TV on ESPN.
While the allocated international break for MLS teams is over, plenty of players are still with their national squads.
