Atlanta United snatched the lead within the first ten minutes of Thursday’s second leg at Fifth Third Bank Stadium, including the fastest goal in Atlanta United history scored by Josef Martinez in the first minute. From there, the Five Stripes only poured it on Herediano, who rarely frightened Brad Guzan. Julian Gressel added the second, Josef got his second of the night to make it 3-0 before Leandro Gonzalez Pirez added the final stamp to make it four.
