Atlanta United signs Jackson Conway as Homegrown Player

Atlanta United announced on Thursday that it has signed Jackson Conway to a Homegrown Player contract. The Leeds-born striker celebrates his 19th birthday by becoming the 9th Homegrown Player in club history.

Conway joined the Atlanta United academy system way back in 2016 from Georgia United. He’s worked his way up the ranks, spending three seasons with ATL UTD 2, scoring 11 goals in 43 appearances in USL.

“We’re happy to see Jackson’s continued development and it’s a complement to his hard work that he’s earned a First Team contract,” Atlanta United Vice President and Technical Director Carlos Bocanegra said.
