Atlanta United today announced that Vice President of Soccer Operations Paul McDonough has accepted the position of Sporting Director at Miami MLS. The two clubs reached an agreement allowing McDonough to end his current contract with Atlanta, effective August 4. The terms of the agreement were undisclosed.
“Paul recently informed the club of his decision to accept an offer to become the Sporting Director at Miami MLS. Paul played a critical role in the building of our club and we are very appreciative of his hard work and dedication in making Atlanta United a success. We wish him and his family all the best moving forward,” Atlanta United President Darren Eales said.
