It’s been ten days since Atlanta United’s last match, but the team now turns its attention to the final stretch of the regular season in hopes of cementing their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference and Supporters Shield race.
According to Michael Parkhurst, who played 30 minutes in the MLS All-Star Game before playing a full 90 minutes three days later against Toronto FC, the team spent the short break physically preparing their bodies for the crucial games ahead rather than focusing on the tactical aspects of the matches ahead.
“We had some good training sessions last week,” said Parkhurst.
